Day 18, and I gotta tell you all, I honestly would say that I push hard every workout, but last night….. Last night, after a WONDERFUL meeting with an awsome group of people who are working with me to make Run For The Cross a successful event, I went home to my little “garage gym” to do my chest/tri workout. WOW! I have been feeling a little weak lately for some reason, but I REALLY pushed my weight last night. And my pecs are seriously sore. Actually, my chest from my clavicle to my last rib, feels bruised the muscles are so sore. Today’s wokout may be interesting. YIKES!
But the only person who can stop me is ME, and I don’t see that happening any time soon. Come 7 o’clock tonight, I will be at Legacy Martial Arts for FIT and Zumba classes. That said, I HAVE to plug this wonderful place once again!!!! If anyone in, around, near, Quincy, IL is looking for a good “push yourself to your limits” workout, you HAVE to join me for FIT class some Tues or Thurs night! It is tough! It is sometimes even brutal! And halfway through, you may be begging God to take you home! But when it is over….you will feel AWESOME, accomplished, and proud of yourself for sticking with it. You don’t have to be able to do it all at your first class, but you will be expected to do YOUR personal best. We have people of all fitness levels in this class, from the beginner to members of the MMA team.
DO your best EVERY time, and your best will just continue to get better. Your 100% may not look the same as the MMA fighter next to you, but as long as it is YOUR 100%, you can be guaranteed a good workout! That goes with ANY workout! You get out of it what you put into it! BUT…If you “swing” around 2# weights with no focus on form or concentration on what muscle you are even working, DON’T expect results, and DON’T whine about how much you work out and never see results!
DO WORK! SEE RESULTS! HALF-A$$ IT! WHY BOTHER???
