Finding Peace

It is not going to come easy
It may come at a price I do not want to pay
A price that seems too high to ever pay
A goal too high to reach

The time has come
The darkness has held on for too long
I am reaching for the light
Will the light reach back when given the chance

It could go either way
But no matter which path, there WILL be change
Some quite possibly painful
Other parts freeing

We say we are ready
We say we are strong enough to survive
But make no mistake or fool yourself
Finding Peace only comes after the Battle is over
